The Waterproofing System
From Thousands of Joints to Zero
The system works in three moves. First, mechanical prep: backed-out fasteners are re-driven or replaced, and heavy rust is treated — the membrane needs a sound roof under it, not a perfect one. Second, the self-flashing polyurea base coat is sprayed across the field. It behaves like a liquid gasket at application, flowing around screw heads and into laps, then sets tack-free in seconds into a 2,850 PSI elastomeric film. Third, a silicone-class reflective topcoat locks in UV resistance and long-term water shedding, including in ponding-prone transitions where most coatings are excluded from warranty.
The finished roof has no seams because it has no joints — one membrane, edge to edge, warrantied as one surface.
